Proud to be delivering nationally recognised training
Training. gov. au is the official National Register on VET in Australia and is the authoritative source of information on training packages, qualifications, accredited courses, units of competency, skill sets and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Courses on the National Register may only be delivered by an RTO and qualifications issued must bear the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo. The College went through rigorous re-registration processes late last year and has been approved for a further 5 years of registration to 2018 – delivering nationally recognised courses across Victoria.
Please view the College’s page on the Training Register (Provider ID: 3580) for a list of courses on College scope. You will find all Certificate, Diploma and Graduate Certificate courses delivered at the College are on the register and are therefore nationally recognised courses. Our qualifications bear the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo.
National VET Regulated (NVR) Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
The College is registered as an RTO and complies with extensive government regulations to maintain registration. This involves internal and external audits and regular reporting to a variety of government organisations and the National VET Regulator. The College is proud of its performance in meeting its obligations as an RTO and its success can be measured by fantastic audit results and an extended government funding contract beyond the standard one year term.
Places in Government-subsidised courses – Now Available 2014-2016
The College is pleased to be able to offer government subsidised places, through The Victorian Training Guarantee program, for Nationally Recognised courses on its scope of registration. The College is currently approved for funding for government subsidised courses commencing 2014 through to 2016.
VET FEE-HELP approved courses
VET FEE-HELP is an extension of FEE-HELP, part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). The Australian College of Hair Design & Beauty is one of only a few beauty colleges able to offer this facility.
VET FEE-HELP approved courses assists eligible students undertaking the Diploma (and above) courses to pay for all or part of their tuition fees. VET FEE-HELP is accessed via a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) who has been authorised by The Australian Government to be an approved VET FEE-HELP Provider.
