Prior to enrolling in your selected course, the first step is to thoroughly read all of the documentation provided by the Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty, in this brochure, and visit the website www.achdb.com.au. APPLY FOR THE COURSE
Complete the Application form for the nominated course neatly and accurately.
APPLICATION FEE
The Application fee of AuD $250.00 is to be submitted along with the Application form. This fee is non refundable.
LETTER OF OFFER
The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty will issue a letter of offer along with a written agreement detailing:
- The Course and Conditions of Enrolment
- Course Costs payable by the student
- Refund policy
- Student obligations
- The Letter of Offer will aid in meeting visa requirements
ACCEPTING YOUR OFFER

ACCEPTANCE DEADLINES
You will need to accept the offer from The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty within 28 days. If you do not accept within this time, you will need to submit a new enrolment application.
DEFERRING YOUR OFFER
If you wish to defer commencement of your course you must write to The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty for approval. You must submit a personal statement and any additional academic documentation (if applicable) and a revised Letter of Offer and ECOE (if applicable) will then be issued, stating the new commencement date.
OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER (OSHC)
The Australian Government requires all international students on a student visa to obtain health and medical insurance during their entire stay in Australia. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provides medical and hospital cover for international students and their dependants whilst studying in Australia.
The ACHDB can arrange for the provision of OSHC with our preferred provider. This will be included within your Letter of Offer in the fees section under Health Cover. This should be paid prior to issuing the ECOE. Before issuing the electronic ECOE you will be required to pay your first payment as outlined in the written agreement. Once the first payment has been received, the College will issue an ECOE.
WHAT IS AN ECOE?
Once an overseas student has been accepted to study at ACHDB, the College will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment form. If the student intends to complete an English course within Australia prior to commencing training at The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty, it is necessary for the student to hold two separate Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment forms, one for each course.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The ACHDB will prepare for your commencement, order your books and equipment, so you can start your training on the nominated day.

The Process of applying for a student visa varies from country to country. Therefore, it is advisable to contact the closest Australian diplomatic post for more information.
