The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty embraces advances in technology. The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty’s in-house hairdressing and beauty salons surpass Melbourne’s best and enable students to experience working and providing services to clients with the finest equipment the industry has to offer.

The College also offers Spa Training on site in Melbourne and Bendigo. Spa Training enables students to become proficient in a range of beauty treatments and gain expertise in utilising the facilities of a Day Spa.

Prestigious and welcoming learning spaces, theory and practice classrooms and The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty’s extensive audio-video library, provide an environment that exceeds the highest standards of training.

All of these skills are embedded in each unit of competency. The application of each skill and the level of detail included in each part of the unit, varies according to industry requirements and the nature of the unit of competency.

Employability Skills are also referred to as general skills for effective participation in work. The College delivers training (30% theory and 70% practical) to ensure students obtain the skills that are required by the Government and Industry today. Employability skills have been part of the College training structure and support the practical skills in both the Hairdressing and Beauty industries.
